Privacy policy
What happens to the details you give us when you ask for a price or book a clean, and how to see, correct or delete them.
This policy covers cleaningserviceslondon.org and the booking requests sent through it or by phone. Cleaning Services London decides how your details are used, which makes us the controller in data protection terms. If you have a question about anything here, ring 020 3734 1438.
What the booking form collects
- your postcode, so we know where the clean is and which prices apply
- the service and what needs cleaning (rooms, oven type, pieces of furniture), when you would like it done and whether the cleaner can park without paying
- your name, your phone number and the best time to ring, or your email address
- anything you write in the notes box
When you book, we also take the address and the access details on the call, because the cleaner needs them. To stop automated spam, the site keeps a count of requests from each internet address for ten minutes and uses it for nothing else.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your details to price the clean and arrange it: to ring or email you back, agree the date, confirm the price, send the cleaner to the right place and take payment. The legal basis is that you have asked us to take steps towards a contract, and then the contract itself. Once a clean is booked, we keep the record because the law requires businesses to keep financial records.
Storage and sharing
Your request is stored on this site and passed to our booking system, where we arrange the job. The cleaner who does the work is given what is needed for it: the address, the access notes and the work booked. We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone for their own marketing, and we share them with others only where the law requires it.
How long details are kept
If a request does not turn into a booking, we delete it after 24 months. If it does, we keep the booking record for as long as the law requires us to keep business records, and then delete it.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, ask us to delete them and object to the way we use them. Ring 020 3734 1438 to ask. We may need to check that it is you before we act, and we reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. If you can, tell us first, so we have the chance to put it right.
Cookies and server logs
This site uses no analytics and no marketing cookies. The cookie policy has the detail. Like any website, our hosting keeps standard server logs (internet address, browser and the pages requested) for security and to fix faults.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we update this page first. This version is dated October 2026.
