Two in three Bromley households own their home, and 18.1% live in a detached house. Oven cleaning in Bromley is £77 for a single oven and £143 for a 90cm range.
Living in Bromley now
Owners dominate. In 2021, 68.5% of Bromley households owned their home and 33.0% owned it outright, while private renters were 17.4%. Social renting was 13.2%, and only 1.5% of households rented from the council. Semi-detached houses held 29.9% of households and detached houses 18.1%, against 31.3% in flats. The council also counts 47 conservation areas across the borough.
In Beckenham, the Beckenham Town and Copers Cope ward is the flat-heavy one: 69.1% flats, with 60.4% of households in purpose-built blocks and a third (33.3%) renting privately. In Kelsey and Eden Park only 12.9% rent privately, and most homes are terraced or semi-detached.
Landlord rules are light. Bromley operates only the mandatory HMO licence, which lasts five years, so outside the larger shared houses a private let needs no council licence at all.
The BR3 postcode district crosses three boroughs, taking in wards of Bromley, Croydon and Lewisham, Bellingham among them, so a Beckenham postcode does not always mean a Bromley address. We cover all three at the same prices.
The oven clean in a Bromley kitchen
The removable parts come out first: racks, trays and the shelf supports, which go to soak. The cleaner then does the cavity by hand, with the glass in the door and the seals around it. Inner door glass comes out only on doors made to come apart, and on those both sides of each pane are cleaned.
When the parts are clean they go back in. The oven is usable that evening, and a window left open for a while clears any smell. The whole job is done in the kitchen with the water and power kept on.
A double oven gets the same treatment for both cavities. A range cooker has a wider cavity and usually a wide hob above it, and a range hob or hood is priced as its own item. If you are not sure what you have, measure the width of the cooker or send us the model when you book.
Single, double or range: telling them apart
The price is set by the type of cooker, so it is worth a quick look before you book. A single oven has one door and one cavity, usually built in under the worktop or at eye level. A double has two doors, one above the other, and two cavities to clean. A range stands on the floor with the hob on top, and the range price is for one 90cm wide.
If yours has a single door but is wider than the units beside it, give us the width when you book and we will tell you whether it is priced as a single wide. Built-in and freestanding ovens of the same type cost the same, and so do gas and electric ones.
Bromley oven cleaning prices
The cooker decides the price. A double oven is £110 and a 90cm range £143; a single is £77 and a single wide £114. On top of that, a ceramic hob is £23, a gas hob £28, a range hob or hood £48 and an extractor £28. One-off work starts at £67.
The spread is wide, so compare two Bromley kitchens. A detached house with a range cooker comes to £143, or £143 plus £48 with a range hob or hood. A Beckenham flat with a single oven and a ceramic hob is £77 plus £23.
Every figure is also on the price list. Where nothing free is available on the street, parking is charged at the day’s rate, and the charge stops at £40.

Booking an oven clean in Bromley
Use the form or ring 020 3734 1438, any day from 8am to 7pm. We ring back to agree the date and confirm the price against the cooker you describe; a 50% deposit secures the visit, and the balance is paid when the oven is done.
Parking in Bromley depends on the zone. In the Bromley North (B) and South (C) town centre zones, controls apply only from 12 noon to 2pm, Monday to Saturday, while Beckenham’s BEC and F zones run from 8.30am to 8pm every day. Some zones sell no visitor vouchers at all, so if your street is controlled, tell us when you book and we plan the parking.

Questions about oven cleaning in Bromley
Does any part of the oven go off site?
No. Racks, trays and shelf supports soak in your kitchen while the cavity, glass and seals are done by hand.
How soon can I cook?
That evening. Any smell from the clean goes once a window has been open for a while.
Can I book just the hob?
Yes, though a hob booked alone is charged at the £67 minimum for one-off work. With the oven, it is simply its own price on top.
My postcode is BR3. Is that Bromley or Lewisham?
It can be either, or Croydon. BR3 takes in wards of all three boroughs, and our prices are the same in each.
Do I need to clear the kitchen?
Empty the oven and the drawer below it and leave the worktop beside it clear, so the soaking parts have room.
Is a freestanding cooker priced differently from a built-in oven?
No. The price follows the type, so a single oven is £77 whether it is built in or freestanding, and a 90cm range is £143.
Ring 020 3734 1438 or send the form, and tell us whether it is a single, a double or a range.
