Cleaning services for homes in Stratford

East Village, the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village, has over 2,800 homes, and a regular cleaner for a flat there or anywhere else in Stratford costs £23 an hour.

Fortnightly visits are £24 an hour, three hours minimum. A deep clean is billed per cleaner-hour at £26, plus £30 once for equipment and detergents, so two cleaners for three hours start at £186. One-off work starts at £67 and every price is on the price list. Where a one-off clean has no free parking nearby, the street bay is passed on at its cost on the day, capped at £40.

East Village, Chobham Manor and the licensing line

East Village’s flats and townhouses are let privately through Get Living, or as intermediate rent, social rent and shared ownership through Triathlon Homes, and about 6,000 people live there, with a further 2,000 homes planned. Chobham Manor, also on the Olympic Park, has 859 homes, from town and mews houses to maisonettes and flats; 75% were designed for families and 35% are affordable. A London & Quadrant and Taylor Wimpey joint venture built it, and the first residents arrived in 2016.

Newham’s landlord licensing splits Stratford in two. Stratford ward is inside both the selective scheme (1 June 2023 to 31 May 2028) and the additional HMO scheme (1 January 2023 to 31 December 2027). Stratford Olympic Park ward is outside both, and a point on Celebration Avenue in East Village, postcode E20 1, falls in that ward. Landlords should check the ward of their own address.

Event days change the parking. When the Olympic Park or London Stadium has an event, permit-only hours in the Stratford Central, North West, South West and South East zones and the West Ham zone stretch to 8am to 9pm. On-street charges are £2.00 to £5.60 an hour by emissions tier, £1.00 an hour more for a diesel, and vehicles over 2.3 m high or 5.3 m long cannot pay by PayByPhone.

A regular visit keeps a flat in order week to week: the kitchen surfaces, hob and sink, the bathroom, dusting, beds and the floors. Stratford’s water is hard. Thames Water’s 2025 reports for its Stratford East and Stratford West supply zones give mean hardness of 263 and 261 mg/l (samples from 245 to 289 and 246 to 282), so the cleaner descales the taps and shower glass every time.

A deep clean is a one-off for the build-up, inside cupboards and the fridge, the extractor hood, grout, skirting boards, door frames and window tracks. The team brings the equipment and products, and you keep the water and electricity on. Our cleaners are vetted and trained.
