Kilburn High Road is the line between Brent and Camden, and on the Brent side 88.2% of households live in flats. A weekly cleaner for one costs £23 an hour, three hours minimum.
A deep clean starts at £186 for two cleaners over three hours, a one-bed moving-out clean is £207, and any one-off job starts at £67; the price list has every figure. On a one-off clean, where no free parking exists near the flat, the street parking is added at what it costs that day, up to £40.

The High Road, South Kilburn and the older streets
The Kilburn Neighbourhood Plan, adopted in December 2025, describes an area that straddles Brent and Camden, with the boundary running straight down Kilburn High Road and part of the southern edge following the Westminster boundary. On either side of the High Road, it says, the housing is mostly Victorian, with some significant areas of social housing. Brent’s Kilburn ward shows the mix: of its 7,648 households, 55.7% live in purpose-built blocks and 29.6% in converted or shared houses, while 40.9% rent socially, 33.4% rent privately and 24.1% own.
South Kilburn is being rebuilt. Brent’s regeneration programme has delivered, or has under construction, 1,954 homes, 1,239 of them for social rent, with more than 1,600 further homes planned over the next 10 to 15 years. On 12 October 2026 the council’s Cabinet approved appointing Ballymore for the remaining stages.
The plan area also holds fifteen listed buildings and thirty-three locally listed ones, among them the Grade II* Gaumont State cinema (now a place of worship) and the Grade II* Black Lion pub, and Paddington Old Cemetery is a Grade II listed park. It records no river flood risk apart from Kingsgate Road, where the former Kilburn stream has flooded before, but a significant threat of surface water flooding elsewhere, which is worth knowing if you rent a ground-floor or basement flat with carpets.
Which side of the High Road you live on decides the council. On the Brent side, the Kilburn ward falls in Brent’s second selective licensing designation, running 5 years from 1 April 2024, and the borough-wide additional HMO scheme applies from 2 February 2026; the Brent page has the parking sessions too. The Camden side follows Camden’s rules (see the Camden page), and West Hampstead and Maida Vale have pages of their own.
Regular and deep cleaning in NW6
A regular cleaner covers the kitchen, bathroom, dusting, beds and floors, and we try to send the same person each time. In a Victorian conversion that includes the stairs inside your flat; the shared hall is left to the freeholder unless you ask. A deep clean, with our equipment and products, goes into emptied cupboards, door tops, grout, radiators, skirting and the grease behind the hob, and you keep the water and electricity on for it.
The borough’s local pages go into the bigger jobs: end of tenancy cleaning for tenants leaving, carpet cleaning by hot water extraction (drying usually takes a few hours, depending on ventilation) and oven cleaning, where racks and trays soak while the cavity, glass and seals are cleaned by hand.
- End of tenancy cleaningfrom £156A fixed price by the size of the home, with a 48-hour re-clean if the inventory clerk marks something we cleaned.
- Deep cleaningfrom £186A team of two or more for a day of the jobs a weekly clean never reaches.
- Domestic cleaningfrom £69 a visitA weekly or fortnightly cleaner, the same person where we can manage it.
- After builders cleaningfrom £212Dust, paint spots and grout film cleared once the trades have gone.
- Carpet cleaningfrom £67Hot water extraction priced by the room, rugs cleaned where they lie.
- Upholstery cleaningfrom £67Sofas, armchairs, mattresses and curtains, priced by the piece.
- Oven cleaningfrom £67Racks and trays soaked, glass and seals cleaned by hand in your kitchen, priced by oven type.

Kilburn cleaning questions
Do you clean on both sides of Kilburn High Road?
Yes. One side is in Brent and the other in Camden, and our prices are the same on both. Only the council rules on parking and landlord licensing differ.
Is my Kilburn flat in Brent’s selective licensing scheme?
If it is in Brent’s Kilburn ward and privately let, yes: the ward is in the second designation, which began on 1 April 2024. Sharers from two or more households may also bring it under the additional HMO scheme.
Do you clean new flats in South Kilburn?
Yes. A newly finished flat needs an after builders clean to clear the fitting-out dust, from £212 for two cleaners over three hours.
Is Kilburn at risk of flooding?
The neighbourhood plan finds no river flood risk except on Kingsgate Road, where the former Kilburn stream has flooded before, but a significant threat of surface water flooding in other parts. If a ground-floor or basement flat has had water in, mention it on the form.
How much is a fortnightly cleaner in Kilburn?
£24 an hour, for a visit of three hours or more. Weekly is £23 an hour.
Ring 020 3734 1438 or send the form, and we will call back with a price for your Kilburn flat.
